I came across these adorable bins at the Dollar Tree & knew I needed them for something. :)
Once our new bookcase was assembled, the bottom shelf felt very empty.
I immediately thought the bins would fit perfectly there.
At first I was going to wrap them in fabric, so I gave it a go, but wasn't loving the finished product.
Finally I decided on using card stock paper & Mod Podge.
I found the coolest website that has so many patterns you can download for FREE!
Slip your paper under your bin & trace
I wanted two fitted pieces & two pieces that could wrap around the bin
Using Mod Podge, glue the large pieces on opposite sides of each other.
Then glue the two fitted pieces on. Once all of the papers are secured, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge over the top, with a generous amount on the sides & corners.
I added some chalkboard vinyl labels, I liked how they added more dimension.
Pretty simple, right? Total cost was $2, since I had the paper & labels on hand!
Enjoy!
