Don't you just love all the pretty colors that surround Easter? They make me happy.
I felt like my little girls needed some festive new holiday shirts for this year--I somehow misplaced the shirts I made last year. I'll cut myself some slack because we did in fact move, so I may have accidentally purged them in the process. :)
I came across this adorable bunny banner & had an idea. Why not use that pattern on a shirt?
I found some really fun fabric at Joanns & was pleasantly surprised by how well the size of the bunny fit on the shirt.
Supplies needed are very simple:
Fabric--a very small amount
Heat n Bond
Ribbon
Shirt--purchased mine at Wal-mart
Iron
Sewing Machine
Iron your fabric to your heat n Bond, securing both pieces together.
Trace your pattern, then cut.
Iron your fabric bunny to your shirt
Stitch around the edges of your bunny, attaching it to your shirt
Attach the ribbon to the bunny's ear--hand-stitch or sew.
Such a super quick project and so very sweet. I can't wait to have my little girls ware these!
Happy sewing!
