In our 'new' house we have a very long mantel area. Which can be good and bad.
When I placed all of my Valentine decor on top, it was missing something.
Something to connect all the pieces together.
I decided to try making a long piece of garland to drape across it.
Check it out..
Using my Cricut, I cut out A LOT of hearts. Maybe 75, I stopped counting. :)
Then I placed them in the pattern I wanted, and started sewing.
It took me a minute to figure it out, but then I got really fast.
I used the center of each heart as my sewing guide.
Easy enough, right!
And soon after, I had a super long piece of garland.
I played around with how I wanted it to look once draped across.
I was very happy with the finished placing.
And now this pretty heart piece has found a new home on our mantel, at least for a little while longer. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
