{handmade} Valentines

I love creating handmade Valentines.
I know, I know, it's a lot of time & a lot easier to buy them at the store, but honestly I do it for the quality time I get in with my girls.
Because really, is there anything better than working on a fun project together??
I don't think so.
To begin, I followed the tutorial from my good friend Crystal on how to make these cute little paper containers.
Super easy & very unique.
To go inside them, I purchased the brightly colored bouncy balls from Target & some chocolate hearts.
I also made a funky shaped tag for my girls to write their name on, using my Cricut.
Add a hole punch with a ribbon, and that covers the essentials for this project.
I knew when I came across these bouncy balls, I just had to get them.  I had no idea what direction they were going to lead me, but I think they fit perfectly in the paper containers.
Assembling these with my little ones was by far the best part.  I loved hearing about the person who was going to receive each Valentine.  It's wonderful to get an insight on your child's life beyond home.
I think we counted 60 total, between school, dance & church.
Lots of love went into these!
