Getting the girls' room complete was high on my list.
I wanted their space to feel like just that, their space.
So here is what we did..
It was a very dark room when we
started. Peach/pink walls & brown trim. Nothing too happy
about that. So we lightened it up a bit.
Pretty purple walls now surrounded them. White ceiling & trim, which made a huge difference on the cleanliness of the room.

Then of course the star of the room is their fabulous new bunk beds.
They LOVE sleeping in them. It's kind of a party every night. :)
New bedding was needed, so I went with a polka-dot purple duvet cover.

A few new pillows as well. I recovered an old pillow with the Chevron fabric, and bought the pink one at Home Goods
Prettied up some frames by changing the color & adding one of my favorite pictures of my girls.
The fun purple frame was purchased as Michaels--it came unfinished & I sprayed it purple
I found the 'I'm going there someday' printable hereThe fun purple frame was purchased as Michaels--it came unfinished & I sprayed it purple
The feel of the room is open & fresh. I really wanted that. Since there is only one small window in the room, and no overhead light, I needed to make it feel more airy than it actually is.
So glad I was able to create that.
Thanks for stopping by!
