With our bellies still full from our Thanksgiving feast, it was time to decorate for Christmas. It is a full day affair, and everyone is involved. Sadly there were several of my decor pieces that didn't make it in the move. I'll replace them in time, but for now, I will use what I have.

I finally decided to get our stockings personalized. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but I think it will be worth it over time. I love how they look together, my little family. :)
I made this book page wreath at a 'Super Saturday' event for my church. I wish I had a tutorial for it, but since I made it there, I don't. If anyone is interested, let me know. Super easy & definitely a statement piece!

My advent calendar was made last year
This is probably my favorite picture that I've taken in a long time.
Merry Christmas!

This may sound really crazy, but this year is the first time I've ever celebrated advent. My family never did it, but the church my husband works for has been doing services for it, and I'm just really not too familiar with it all. Even though I'm loving it! lol. So, I have a question: what exactly are the calendars for that people make? I've been seeing them all over blogs but I'm not sure what they say on them besides the numbers. ((I feel so silly for asking this...))

Hi, I'm popping in from MMS and I'm so glad you showed the detail on this chest because I would have missed it. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing.
