Kiwi Crate {review}

With summer upon us and school out, my two little girls are constantly wanting to do some sort of craft.  Always asking for 'craft supplies' for their little stash.  I try my best to think of fun things for them to do, but sometimes it's not always so easy.
When I received this little box full of goodies from Kiwi Crate, I knew my girls were going to have the best time.  And they definitely did.

Kiwi Crate is a box of creativity that comes right to your door each month.  And the best part about it, everything to create the craft is in the box--which makes it super easy to get started immediately.

We received the 'growing gardens' crate.  There were 2 crafts for each of my girls.
The first one they did was 'my window garden'.  I really liked how each craft had it's own booklet on exactly what to do.  It was very easily mapped out for you, even told how much parent involvement was needed, which I really appreciated. I got the supplies ready & the girls did most of the work.  I could see how much they loved having that creative control over it. :)

And this is what they came up with.  They have an observation journal that they are keeping track of the growth of their bean & squash plants as well.  Super cute.

Next they did the 'my plant pots' craft.  I handed all of the supplies over & they went to town.  I didn't have to explain very much with this, since it was pretty self-explanatory.  They played with that clay for almost one hour, it was really fun to watch.  They finally came up with a plan for their little pots after a while. When they were all done, my 6 year old was so proud of their creations.

I think my favorite part was watching the excitement on their little faces.  They lit up as they showed me their work.  My youngest daughter has a birthday coming up & she asked if she can get another box as one of her presents.  And I think I can make that happen. :)
