Oh yes, I made another wreath. That is such a running joke at my house. :)
But to my defense, our front door needed a bit of color, for Spring of course.
And I just happened to have an extra wreath form hanging around, that was calling my name.
I pinned this beautiful coffee filter wreath, so that was my jumping off point.
I've made a coffee filter wreath in the past, but this was a completely different look.
Here we go..

Making this wreath is super easy, which I can appreciate, and actually goes really fast.
I was able to assemble this in about 30 minutes.

Simply fold a coffee filter in half, and glue to the wreath.
Repeat the entire way around.
I used one pack of filters to complete this.

Now to make your pinwheels, as mentioned in my pinwheel banner, I used this tutorial to create mine.

1. Cut 2 strips--the length & width of your choice
2. Fold each strip accordion style
3. Glue both pieces together
4. Grab the outside of the accordion, push the top in towards the center, creating a pinwheel
4. Secure the center with glue on the front & the back

I made several of them
They needed something else though, so I added the white coffee filter to the mix as well.

1. Fold coffee filter in half
2. Squeeze the center & pinch together, then twist the tip
3. Open up & push tip into the back to lay flat
4. Front should look as indicated

I glued a few of my pinwheels to the white coffee filters, then glued them all in place.
I played around with the placement of the pinwheels for a while, until I came up with this.
I also added a strip of scrap fabric to the top. I glued that in place as well.

So that completes my Spring wreath.
I enjoy the pop of color that it brings, & makes me smile when I pull up to our home.

What Spring wreath have you created?
Any plans to create one soon?
Then again, maybe you shouldn't tell me, I may have to pin it & make it as well. :)
Happy Spring!

Love this wreath girl! I wish I could do a paper wreath of sorts for my front door but the humidity and sporadic down pours would ruin my wreath in seconds. btw... I featured this today on Sew Woodsy!
