After I placed everything on my mantle, I felt like there was missing.
So when I came across this adorable banner from Make and Takes, I knew I wanted to make something similar.
I decided to go with an ombre theme, since I happened to have three shades of green felt. :)

I printed off a shamrock to use as my guide, then cut out all my shamrocks

Pinned them together & added the ribbon to the ends, then stitched a straight line to connect them all. I ended up using a little hot glue to connect the bottom leaves.
And by the way, if you didn't want to sew this, you could most definitely use hot glue, it may even look better, since there wouldn't be a stitch line.

Pretty simple, right!

My girls are very excited to have our St. Patrick's day party on Saturday.
I have a few fun things in mind for them, thanks to my handy friend, Pinterest. :)
Any 'green' plans for the holiday??

So sweet and elegant! Love it! :)
So cute Linds! I love the garland--you always inspire me to decorate up my mantle, but for some reason I always seems to skip over St. Patty's Day decorations and go straight to Easter. I will be making a Shepard's Pie though for the husband ;)
I love the simplicity of it!
I love it! I enjoy when other people decorate for the smaller holidays (like St. Patty's)
it makes me smile! nice job!
Cute! You are the best holiday decorator ;) Yep... I still don't have anything up for St. Patties. Don't worry though my mom gave me a little ceramic bunny so we are ready for Easter! lol This needs to be a goal of mine - decorating for the holidays!
