{Scrappy} Burlap Tree

Today I am going to share a little obsession I have going on now--mini trees. You see, I go through phases where I really like something, and I make several of them--like all the many wreaths at my house. :)

Let's get started..

For this project, you will need:

Tree form--I purchased mine from Michaels
Burlap--two different colors
Glue gun & glue sticks
scissors

Start by cutting several circles. It is kind of time consuming, but put on a movie or show from your DVR, and the time will go by before you know it. :)
Follow the above directions to make the little 'poofs'--I'm not really sure what they are called. :)
Now glue them on. It actually doesn't take a lot of time for this step. Simply put a line of glue on your tree, and stick on several at once. Under the very first row, you will want to cut out & glue on a strip of burlap to cover the bottom triangles. It makes for a more finished look.

When you have your first color section done, move on to the next, and repeat all the way to the top.
