When I was browsing through Pinterest, I came across this awesome idea to create a candy corn wreath. And seeing how I can't pass up a good wreath, I just had to make it. :)
Wreath form
Candy corn (I ended up using a little over 1 bag)
Black crepe paper
Ribbon--which I ended up changing to black
Glue gun--with lots of glue sticks!
Start by wrapping the crepe paper around the wreath form--gluing it in the beginning
Then it's time to glue lots & lots of candy corn all around. And don't be like me & think that it's okay to eat all the broken ones--I was kind of sick afterward. :) Alternate the direction of the candy on each row.
Add a ribbon & display proudly. It looks pretty impressive, I have to admit. So happy with the outcome!
Ps--today is my birthday! We are heading out for a fun weekend away. I see lots of shopping in my future, time to spend some birthday money. :)
