January isn't too early to put up Valentine decor, right?! Well either way, I just couldn't wait. :)

One thing on my 'to-do' list before baby boy gets here, is to get all my Valentine decor made. I have seen lots of cute ideas that I wanted to re-create. And so that is exactly what I did. All of the decorations on our mantle are newly made by myself. I am very happy with how they turned out. What do you think??

I saw this sweet saying on a blog and knew it would be perfect with all our 'heart' decor. And having a Cricut handy helped out a lot as well. :)

A lot of nights I can't sleep, another wonderful thing about being in your last month of pregnancy. I did however come up with this fun idea--and then when I saw it on here, I knew I had to try it. I had the pot, which I spray painted white. I bought a Styrofoam insert from the Dollar Tree, along with the Spanish moss. I painted a pencil black for the center part (creative, right?!). I also found the 3 in. foam balls at the Dollar Tree. And I bought the pink felt at Michaels. Total cost for the project was $3.

I knew I wanted some cute blocks for the holiday, so I had Steve bring home a few different sizes from work. Such a quick & easy project. And I LOVE how they turned out. :)

Another idea I came up with while I was supposed to be sleeping, was the candy heart art. I bought the candy at the store & hot glued it on a piece of paper. Simple as that.

And how about this cute felt heart wreath?? When I saw the idea, I knew I had to make it. I couldn't find the foam wreath that the tutorial called for, so I used a straw wreath instead & kept the plastic wrap on it. And in case any of you want to make your own, I would recommend using 1 yard of felt, instead of 3/4 yard.

These little tissue rosette balls were kind of an after thought. When I saw how easy they were to make, and that I didn't have to buy anything for them, I knew I had to try it out. I had the streamers from Kaitlyn's birthday & I made my own ball form--out of plastic bags & paper. One hour of my time & I had two more pieces to add to our Valentine decor.

Don't you just love the little mail boxes?? Found them at the Target dollar section. I also made more of the felt balls & hung them from a picture frame.
